Ambition is designed to help high school students gain valuable experience through virtual internships and life skills courses. It provides students with the opportunity to explore career interests, develop skills, and earn rewards funded by generous supporters like you.

How do virtual internships work?

Students select virtual internships with fictional companies in fields they are interested in, including business, STEM, creative arts and communication, and health and society. Each internship is structured into levels that last for 30 days, with daily activities that include instructional videos, quizzes, and skill-building exercises. This format ensures that students gain comprehensive knowledge and practical skills in their chosen area of interest.

How do the student rewards work?

Each internship level has a specific fundraising goal, starting at $100 for level 1 and increasing up to $200 for level 12. For every day a student completes, they earn a small portion of their rewards, along with a bonus for completing an entire 30-day internship level. Students can redeem their rewards in the form of gift cards to stores of their choice.

What happens if my contribution exceeds the current level's goal?

If your contribution exceeds the current level's goal, the extra funds will be applied to the next internship level. This ensures that your support helps the student continue their progress through all internship levels.

How do I know my contribution is making a difference?

You will receive updates on the student’s progress, including the completion of internship levels and the skills they have gained. This allows you to see the direct impact of your support.

Are my contributions tax-deductible?

No, financial contributions made to the Ambition platform are not tax-deductible. However, your contributions play a crucial role in supporting students' educational and career development through our virtual internship program.
